パイロット夫妻のカリフォルニア生活 Napa Couple Flying High Life in Napa Ask anyone about Napa and they will say it is a wonderful place to live, even if they have never been there. Its reputation as a picturesque tourist destination is second only to Disneyland in California. Napa, California is famously known to many people the world over for some of the world’s greatest wines and beautiful rolling vineyard hills laid under a high cobalt blue sky. It symbolizes the typical California scenery and lifestyle.
At night it is covered in thick fog, which rolls back to the Pacific Ocean in the morning, leaving a calm gentle breeze and crystal clear skies all day. The weather stays pretty constant all year long. It is warm all year with a lot of rain in winter and hot in August and September. Every afternoon, towards sunset, the sky turns a beautiful golden color as the fog stirs again while the sun sets behind it.
That was the picture we had in our minds before we moved to Napa, working as flight instructors at the Japan Airlines Training Center a little over three years ago. |
