Lectures for Globally Minded
Citizens
The scholars gained necessary knowledge (in areas including
Japanese culture, the environment, social issues, etc) in
order to become globally minded citizens.

Field Trip
The field trip to the Niigata Prefecture this
year was conducted in partnership with the East Japan Railway
Culture Foundation. The scholars’ understanding of Japan was
deepened as a result of regional cultural experiences in Murakami
City and exchanges with local university students in Niigata
City.

families in Tokyo and Ishikawa, the scholars were able to
