エストニア大会 概要 Overview of the Estonia Contest

Overview
Overall the 18th World Children's Haiku Contest in ESTONIA went very well. We had a total of 761 entries from schools (702), kindergartens (4) and private persons (55).
Various media outlets like our long-time partner children's magazine Hea Laps published information about the contest. We also designed a separate web section for the haiku contest published info on our social media (Facebook: Jaapani Kultuuri Koda) and sent e-mails to all schools, hobby schools and kindergartens in Estonia.

The 18th World Children's Haiku Contest (2023 - 2024) was very well arranged, e-mails were answered promtly and in clear manner.

One thing to change would be registration form - a separate section for school information and children should write parents e-mail and phonenumber. Sometimes it happens that children write their own contact information and are not getting the message that they have won.

Also if possible, in the future, please think about making the online or via e-mail submission of works and registration forms possible.
