This haiku is constructed from a perception very close to the child's world, in which the child observes and values the simple sounds of life around them. The loud clucking of the hen breaks the morning silence in the woods and becomes the central element of the scene, revealing a sensitive attention to the environment and the experiences of daily rural life. With simplicity and spontaneity, the poem captures a moment lived and felt genuinely by the child.
