「ドンドンパ」とは太鼓のリズムのことだろう。それに合わせて「パ」っと手を開く。そこに集ってきた友人たち。この光景が俳句だけでも見えてくる。そこに絵が加わると、子供たちの嬉しそうな表情が加わる。まことに現代の日本の風景そのもの。そしてまことに現代の子供たちが今だ持っている日本人らしさに感動をすら覚える。
"Dondonpa" must refer to the rhythm of a drum. Opening one's hands with a "pa" to the beat. Friends gathering there. This scene comes alive even in the haiku alone. Adding the painting brings the children's joyful expressions. Truly a scene of modern Japan itself. And one feels moved by the distinctly Japanese spirit that modern children still possess.
