おそらく、もっとも身近な家族である母。それだけに、「母の日」は照れくさいことに共感する。自然にこぼれ出た心の声のような「恥ずかしいから」は、作者のまっすぐな思いそのもので、親しみを感じさせる。母に対してどんな言葉を贈ったのか、「お手紙で」によって読み手に想像が広がる。丁寧に描き込んだ便箋やリボン、カーネーションからも、母への思いがあふれている。
The author's mother is probably the closest family member. For that reason, I understand her embarrassment on Mother's Day. The author's straightforwardness in "too shy," which seems to have spilled out spontaneously from her heart, feels familiar. What kind of words did she send to her mother? "Letter" opens a variety of possibilities. The carefully drawn letter pad, the ribbon, and the carnations also overflow with the author's feelings toward her mother.
