テーマ「かぞく」 Theme "Family" 大賞作品 JAL Grand Prize Winner

この作品にはほんとうに笑ってしまった。先ず句を読んでなかなかの新鮮な句だと思った。そして絵を見たら本当に一緒の顔なので爆笑してしまった。世間でも娘は父親に似るというが、本当に瓜二つなのである。殊に目の閉じ方、眉毛などを注視していたら鼻がもっと似ているので失礼乍らまた笑ってしまった。Tシャツの色合いもまたお似合い。これはもう一点の疑いようのない素敵な家族なのだと太鼓判を押す。

This work really made me laugh. At first, I read the haiku and felt it relatively fresh. Next, I saw the picture, and their faces were so alike that I burst into laughter. Generally, it is said that a daughter resembles her father; they are identical. I was comparing how they closed their eyes and eyebrows, and then I discovered their noses were so much alike, which gave me another laugh. The colors of their T-shirts are a good match, too. I assure you that this is a lovely family, without a doubt.
