ロダンの「考える人」に感銘を受けた作者。ともに鑑賞する祖母は、そんな孫の作者にも、優しい眼差しを送っているかもしれない。「考える人」を見た体験は作者にとって祖母と繋がって記憶に残るだろう。芸術は世代を超えて人に受けつがれる。何時の日か、自分が年老いたとき、今度は自分の孫を連れて、「考える人」を見に行こう。 夏の明るい陽光に、黒く光る彫像がダイナミックに描かれ、それに目を見はる大人と子どもがコミカルに描かれた絵も楽しく、向日的な世界として句の表現を支えている。
The author was impressed by Rodin's “The Thinker”. Her grandmother, who was viewing the work with her, may have been giving a kind look to her granddaughter, the author. The experience of seeing “The Thinker” will remain in the author's memory in connection with her grandmother. Art is passed on from generation to generation. Someday, when she grows old, she will take her grandchildren to see “The Thinker". The dynamic depiction of a shiny black statue in the bright summer sunlight and the comic depiction of an adult and a child gawking at it are also enjoyable and support the phrase expression as a sunlit world.
