Jumping sheets are an amazing thing. They allow children to have unique physical experiences while also strengthening unity and a sense of community. Because only when everyone pulls on the same rope, or in this case, sheet, is it possible to safely move the person in the middle of the sheet up and down. In a dark and possibly intimidating world, the jumping sheet and the people holding it symbolize the security and comfort that family can provide when we stumble on the path of life.
